In the hills of Beaujolais, the village of Taizé located in the very heart of the region, famous for its houses built of sand colored stone .
Our domain exists since the 18th century and has belonged to the Coquard family for 3 generations.
Harvesting only by hand. Winemaking in the great Beaujolais tradition, putting whole bunches in the tanks for fermentation, uncrushed.
Fermentation lasts 5 to 6 days with pumping over more than twice a day for good extraction of color and the true flavor of Gamay.
Soil : 10 hectares (25 acres) of clay and limestone soil
