 Area of Production

Village of Saint-Vérand, located in the northern part of the Beaujolais area. Harvesting only by hand. The grapes in whole bunches are dispatched toward the tanks for fermentation, without destemming or crushing. Short fermentation of 4 to 5 days, which brings out the typical youthful and fresh character of Beaujolais Nouveau.
Soil : 4.3 hectares (11 acres) of clay and limestone soil

 

Tasting characteristics

Bright red color. Very fresh taste of red berries. Round and soft. Serve chilled (12-13°C). It can be enjoyed on its own.
It can also go perfectly with cold meats or a country buffet.
