Beaujolais Villages Nouveau is produced in 39 different villages, going from the north of Beaujolais where are situated the top ten Cru wines, to the center where production of the biggest part of Beaujolais Villages occurs. Our Beaujolais Villages is produced in the village of Le Perréon.

Our domain of the Hospices of Lyon consists of successive donations between 1880 and 1920. Profits from sales are used to improve hospital conditions for patients.

Wine making : Harvesting only by hand. The grapes in whole bunches are dispatched toward the tanks for fermentation, without destemming or crushing. Short fermentation of 4 to 5 days, which brings out the typical youthful and fresh character of Beaujolais Villages Nouveau.

 

Tasting characteristics

Cherry color with purple tints. Raspberry and lemony flavor, round and well balanced.
Serve chilled at 12-13°C, with cold cuts, white or red meat cooked on the grill. As it is an easy and versatile wine, it goes with lots of foods, even fish
