Vineyard acreage  : 4 hectares (10 acres) Area of production  : Village of St-Lager, located at the foot of Mount Brouilly. This is the largest and Southest Beaujolais Cru

Exposure  : South and Southwest hillside slopes
Soil  : The typical “ pierre bleue ” (blue stone) of the MountBrouilly is a volcanic stone called andesit schist.


Tasting characteristics

Deep ruby color. Red fruits, plum and peach aromas with mineral hints. This Brouilly is deep colored, tight-knit and robust.
Serve at cellar temperature (12-13°C) with game and red meats.
