HACHETTE WINE GUIDE 2005

Wines presented by COLLIN BOURISSET : Moulin à Vent 2002 Domaine Bourisset oak aged and a POUILLY FUISSE 2001 Les Petites Bruyères * oak aged, both listed.

MACON ROUGE Les Teppes Marius 2003 ** Coup de Coeur.

After being mentioned in the previous edition of the Guide, this vintage Les Teppes Marius obtains the highest distinction with the 2003 vintage. A deep red color with purple reflections. The intense and complex nose offers fragrances such as currants, cherries, blackberries and black currants. Soft tannins and a good structure. A well balance wine with good length. An example to follow, especially in this aoc. Congratulation to Edward Steeves and his collaborators for this excellent work.

HACHETTE WINE GUIDE 2004

Founded 183 years ago, the well established winery of Collin-Bourisset submitted BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES 2002 Domaine des Hospices de Lyon and MORGON 2002 Les Trois Porches, both of which were cited.

MACON ROUGE Les Teppes Marius 2002

«  The polished Edward Steeves, recently awarded one of France’s highest distinctions : Knight of Arts and Humanities, is at the head of this traditional wineshipping firm. He selected this particular wine with utmost care, as he usually does. Its color is cardinal red, deep and luminous. The nose first offers notes of fruit, then follow complex scents of musk and humus. Vibrant fruit attack in the mouth, roundness on the palate, fragrant all the while, ending on piquant tannins. A wine very representative of its AOC. »
