In the year 1922, Louis Bourisset acquired 10 hectares (25 acres) of vineyard adjoining the landmark windmill in the town of Romanèche-Thorins. Thus began Domaine Bourisset. Microclimat suitable for a high quality.

Vineyard acreage

10 hectares (25 acres) Winemaking  : Grapes harvested by hand. Selected whole bunches loaded in fermentation tank, no destemming, no crushing. Traditional vinification with immerged cap lasting 10 days, which extract maximum color, tannins. Partial ageing in oak, 6 to 8 months.


Tasting characteristics

Very bright deep cherry color. Floral (rose and peony) and red fruits (raspberry and blackberry) aromas. Elegant, long length. With red meats, game and cheeses. Wine to store for 3 to 6 years.
