Area of Production
In the year 1922, Louis Bourisset acquired 10 hectares (25 acres) of vineyard adjoining the landmark windmill in the town of Romanèche-Thorins. Thus began Domaine Bourisset. Microclimat suitable for a high quality.
Soil : Granite with manganese.
Exposure : East and Southeast, hillside slopes.
Vineyard acreage : 10 hectares (25 acres) Winemaking : Grapes harvested by hand. Selected whole bunches loaded in fermentation tank, no destemming, no crushing. Traditional vinification with immerged cap lasting 10 days, which extract maximum color, tannins. Partial ageing in oak, 6 to 8 months.
