 Area of Production

Village of Saint-Amour. Saint-Amour is the most northern vineyard of Cru Beaujolais. Harvesting exclusively by hand. Whole bunches put in tanks without crushing or destalking. Traditional fermentation which lasts from 7 to 12 days. Good extraction of color and tannin. Put in bottle after 5 to 10 months. Soil : 4 hectares (10 acres) of clay and siliceous soil on granite subsoil.

Tasting characteristics

Fine and well balanced wine, ruby color, flavor of kirsch and raspberry, lightly spiced It is the wine for Saint Valentine’s Day par excellence.
Serve at 16-17°C, with poultry or pheasant.
